Am I The Only One That Finds This Absolutely Horrifying?

I found this on YouTube, and I don't know what to think about it. It's horrifying to me for some strange reason, I think it's because I know it's a life-less machine, but it resembles a living thing and it has struggles that a living creature would have... Just check it out for yourself.

It's an all terrain scout. Basically in development to produce a machine that is able to scout while it is highly unlikely that it crashes in enemy territory because of uneven terrain.

I think it is incredible that they can simulate these movements. Sure, it is for military use, but all good things were developed by it at some point. The Internet, mobile phones etc. This could be used for prostheses and the like.

You mean prosthetic limbs and stuff?

I agree with Key, I think it's incredible as well. Would not have thought we would be able to replicate the basic movements of an animal (dog?) so well yet.

I agree with you both on the fact that it is amazing that we are capable of building something like this, and I find it interesting, but to me, I find it extremely unnerving as well...
