Welcome to the new TreeCrafters.online

Hello all!

I am back. After 6 years hiatus, I've grown nostalgic and inspired to try and kick off TreeCrafters again. This was a great little community back in 2011, and after the years of personal growth, life-hurdles jumped, and skill building, I'm ready to jump in again.

Special thanks to Mailleweaver, Blazin, Althing, and the rest of you who stuck around for so long after I left. You guys are all awesome.

I did get Maille's blessing to pick things up where they were left off, in case anyone is wondering.

There is an all new website in the works for this community, but for now we'll keep this forum going until I get more time to build the new site. You can see the landing page for that, here: http://treecrafters.online/

Minecraft has changed a LOT since I last played in January 2012, so I still have some things to learn, but there is already a lot in development for this server that will breathe life back into the old game idea, plus implement some new features.

There will be other threads where I will go into more details on updates and ideas, but here's a quick rundown:

• We'll be running BungeeCord with different worlds, each with different features. A hub world, Tree Spirit Challenge (which we'll call TreeCrafters Challenge), TC Masters, Freelanders (general survival), The Corruption (now in a separate world from the regular Challenge world), and a few other ideas being kept secret.
  
• I'm working with a plugin developer to add features that work with the TreeCrafters Challenge just for our server. There are some old plugins, but they are missing features I want and are grossly outdated (they don't include a number of newer trees from recent years).
  
• I'm interested in finding a texture pack and skin artist to help get us customized. Any suggestions?
  
• While other development is going on, I'm having fun turning a giant spruce forest into a forest city. If you'd like to join in, just let me know and I can get you access.
  
• All former members of TreeCrafters will be given an OG rank to separate them from the newbies.
  
• It would be nice to have an official release around the New Year. Consider us in beta now.
  
• There will be some various donator perks coming. That's not important now, but I figured I would include it here.
  
• The new website will have a lot of features: Blog, galleries, forums, lore, FAQ, etc....

Hey there! If you need any help I’ll gladly help. I loads of time on my hands being a college student and all. So if you’re looking for help hit me with that ip.

Oh man, it's been 4-5 years now. Which is probably how long since I quit survival minecraft in general as well. Ahaha, will probably drop by, see if I remember the rules (something about not being able to touch ground after cutting down your first tree).
