unstable ingot problems

i seem to be unable to craft the normal unstable ingots i can only craft unstable ingots that dont explode and you are able to drop onto the ground without consequence but that explode only when picked up while not in a crafting table. also without the normal unstable ingots i cant craft any of the unstable ingot crafting recipes like the etheric sword and such.

p.s. my freind seems to be able to craft them normally so is it problem with my client or the server?

If you fail to craft the item you wanted (if they explode) you die and your inventory drops. However, the bug (from the server) is that the exploded ingots are not destroyed and only droped on the ground.

And they keep the exploding status, so once you pick them up they explode again.

So if you want etheric stuff, you have one chance

no its that the first time i crafted them they were the bugged version you're talking about and i have no idea how to make them work the first time around

ah i tried again twice and the 2nd time it finally worked
odd though because i didnt do anything different from the first two times than the 3rd so maybe it was just bad luck?

It might be shift clicking the unstable ingots out of the crafting table, but I haven't crafted them recently.

i recently found out that its actually the unupdated rotarycraft thats causing forge to break the unstable ingot recipes and that this is fixed in rotarycraft v7.
on that note we really do need to update mods in the pack
