Anyone interested in coming back?

It's been a long time, friends.

I've spent the last few years working hard trying to get a few personal things taken care of, and, well, life has changed. I am scheduling deliberate time for myself to relax from the daily grind, and Minecraft has been a great way for me to do that.

I'd like to get TreeCrafters back up and running again. I have some ideas for what to do with it to make it more consistent, and quite a lot better paycheck to cover the server bills, heh. I'm thinking of building some custom mods and resource packs for the server, and adding different worlds so that everyone has something to do.

Just need to know if you'll have me.

I'll be working on a new TreeCrafters official website soon if you guys are cool with it - I left so long ago and you guys kept it running the entire time. I can't just act like I'm gonna barge in and take over again without your blessing!

A few updates from today:

Landing page website and temporary logo are done. Will get social media and everything running this week sometime and add links to the website plus a "sign-up for early access" option.

Working on setting up a dedicated server network and splitting the resources with a few other server owners.

Mostly just been working on building houses in the spawn forest. I'm not the best builder, so it's taking me quite a while to make progress. Five houses done (and several others deleted, heh).

Well, you're up and at it rather early.

That landing page looks good. Things will be rather different having a web developer around. Maybe you'll be able to build up a larger community than I was ever comfortable administrating.

I should have put my skills to the test before. Been a developer for 10 years, but really improved in the last five. It's what I do for work now, so I might as well have some fun with it!

I played a little a few years back. I'd definitely be interested in starting up again. I saw you talking about a new server on another post, is it possible to start a tree on there currently, and if so, will the progress be lost as there are lots of things for the new server being worked on?

New server is available and your progress will not be lost in the survival world that's currently up. New worlds that are generated will be separate from this survival world so you'll always get to go back to your old tree.

PM me for the IP and I'll get you set up - just be aware that while your build progress won't be lost, some game changes may come that affect the gameplay (like mcMMO and the custom plugin we're developing).

So, how's the plugin coming along? It going to be ready soon? ^.^

Hoping so! The developer had to finish finals this week, then we should have a working prototype finished this weekend.

The server is up and running, though, so if you'd like to join and claim your Veterans tag and start a tree, we can make that happen.
