I am unable to get on the server atm but wanted to chat with people. Wonder if anyone wanted to talk. For example anyone know the best way for getting oil out of water? And what you should do with it after that?

You could use sand or gravel to frame the oil well and block out the water. Then, I'd just refine the oil and use it in combustion engines or a steam boiler, depending on how much you're going to be using it.

If you're going to end up using a combustion engine, or a liquid boiler, it's much more efficient to create biofuel via the BioReactor. If you provide it with natural materials such as crops or bonemeal it produces biofuel directly at an incredibly alarming rate without the need for power (It's extremely cheap to build, quite overpowered imo). On another server I set two of them up with a T5 skeleton spawner, and using just those two machines I was able to power 8 high pressure liquid boilers, and was still gaining.

Hmm, well seeing as I have oil nearby I'll just be using that first. Don't have a good supply of 'bio' products atm. Don't even know if silver bell trees register as a bio product (they probably do, but idk for sure).

So, how far along are people into their preferred tech trees?

I used portable tanks to move oil from the well to my house. There is a better way to do it with the force wrench, allowing you to do that with a regular glass tank.

I've been using mainly the Force mod (Dartcraft) which is extremely overpowered if you seek challenge

I've also begun to use forestry (slowly) to get the trees that i wish to grow in the future.

Are you doing tree breeding? Or just setting up tree farms?

Right now, I'm pretty much endgame with Tinkers Construct, and have setup a decent tree farm using a Galgadorian tree cutter upgrade from Steve's Carts. I plan on using the logs generated by said farm to finish my tree and from there, I will start working on beeeeeeeeez, and the more high tier electronic devices.

I have iron tools from Tinker's Construct... and lots of berries.

My tree farm is 2 rows of Force trees and 2 rows of Oak trees that i can take down with 2 swing of my Tinker's construct axe.

And yes, tree breeding (Hill cherry, Silver lime and common beechnut)

I am currently working on getting enough for a tinkers lumber axe. Haven't set up any tree farms yet though. I should probably look into getting some different types of saplings though. I just have 2 oak, 2 rubber, and my silverbell saplings atm.

Ugh, all I wanna know is if it's me or if the server is slow for EVERYONE. That is all.

The server is so slow for me I can't even get on it.

I will see if I can reset the server later tonight and will resond again here whether the problem is resolved or not.
