Leaf 'n' Logistics bug reports and balance tuning

As for the modpack : it feels really really REALLY REALLY overloaded to me.
Those are my 1srt negative observations on the pack.
It still looks magnificent
I'd suggest we play with the pack for a week, then we make a vote for each mod to see if we keep them or not.
for the mod count, i'd say around 100 more or less ? needs testing

As for the modpack : it feels really really REALLY REALLY overloaded to me.
- My computer's memory (8Go) gets loaded pretty fast.
- There is a LOT of errors that occurs in the loading and then when playing
- a LOT of objects that require calculations (cpu usage super high)
- sometimes hangs and gets my cpu and memory usage to 90-99% until I kill the process

Yeah the slightest clicking of the Search button in the creative tab crashes you instantly. Whether your on a Mac or PC.
As for your gamemode. I'll try and make creating a safe spawn area a priority once the server gets a new world.
Something plain, but well lit, mob free and with command blocks to switch your gamemode.

Sounds like a plan guys! I've made a base because I need to understand how I will need to start the actual game, or else I'll lag behind real fast. Though it seems I do that naturally
But yeah, just starting out is going to be hard considering the new food stuff, but I love those mods to death (pun intended).
Also, I haven't downloaded fast-craft or whatever. Is it really necessary? Does it really make a difference?

*cough* I don't know... I didn't install Fastcraft either... If I saw mention of it before I forgot about it before I got around to downloading it..
So who HAS downloaded/installed it for the pack already?
Except for Mailleweaver whose instructions we seem to have failed to follow.

Hey everyone, sorry I've been silent for so long. Just got back college acceptances, so now I can stop worrying about school. Anyways, I tried to install Fastcraft but I'm pretty sure I did it wrong because I couldn't get Minecraft to load and it takes a while to load the pack without it so I haven't been on recently.

Hey Ocean !
The pack runs at very low fps without both fastcraft and optifine for me (laptop)
To install any additional mod:
1- get the file http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10820
2- open the ftb launcher, select the pack, push the "edit mod pack" button
3- add mod button
4- select the file you downloaded
and you're done !
Also : check this mod

Alright, well I guess I'll give a slight heads up before Althing makes a new post or something, but we're going to have an update to our mods/modlist and a map reset to go along with it around mid week. Hopefully it will lessen a bit of the load on most of our computers.

To be honest, I don't know if making a pack of our own is viable right now. Can we modify an existing one, maybe add a few mods, just to get everything up and running?

Ocean, me and Maille discussed the status of the server last night. We've decided to do vanilla with about 5 added mods. First, the food and hunger mods, ex nihilo, and then I believe Maille said he had about 2 others he'd like to add. So, hopefully we'll be able to start the new map within a couple of days.

It's more than just 5 evidently. Maille has put a lot of work into it, so thanks very much!
We should be ready soon after the pack gets accepted by the FTB team. And, yes it appears that those two mods are still in the pack.

I've put together a new pack that's much smaller than what I was trying for before, as Blazin has said. It's been submitted to FTB for approval, so we just have to wait for them to push it to the launcher. The server is already set up with a new map.
We might be able to add more mods later, but here's what we have for now:
